Why ours look different

On Facebook, the creative is the campaign.

Nobody goes to Instagram looking for a drywall contractor. That is the whole challenge of advertising there, and it means the thing that decides whether a Meta campaign works is not the targeting. It is whether the first two seconds of the video make somebody stop scrolling. Most agencies outsource that part to a stock library. We drive to your job site and shoot it.

  1. We shoot the creative ourselvesCory handles the camera, Ashlyn handles the production side. Finished concrete, a clean drywall seam, the truck in the driveway, your crew actually working. On the full service package that is two on-site shoots a month, which is enough to keep fresh creative running all year instead of burning one video into the ground.
  2. Vertical video cut for the feedShot and edited for phones, with captions, because most of Facebook and Instagram watch with the sound off. A horizontal clip from your website does not work here and neither does a photo with text over it.
  3. Audiences built on your service areaThe zip codes you drive to, the homeowner age and ownership signals that match your jobs, and retargeting for people who already visited your website and did not call. Retargeting is usually the cheapest thing in a Meta account and the most commonly skipped.
  4. Offers that suit a cold audienceSomebody who was not looking for you will not fill out a long quote form. We lead with something lighter, like a free estimate, a seasonal check, or a gallery of recent work, and we write the ad to set expectations honestly so the leads that come through are real.
  5. Tracking that matches your Google sideMeta pixel and conversion API installed through the same Google Tag Manager container we use for your Google Ads tracking, so leads are counted once and attributed to the right channel instead of both platforms claiming the same phone call.
  6. Reporting in sentencesWhat ran, what it cost, which creative pulled, and what we are changing next month. Same format as every other report we send.

Looking for someone to run your page day to day rather than paid ads? That is social media management, which is a separate service. For people actively searching for what you do, see Google Ads.

Straight answer

Meta ads are not the right first dollar for every business.

We would rather lose this sale than take your money for the wrong channel. Here is the honest split, based on how these campaigns actually behave.

Meta usually works when

  • The work is visual and the before and after is obvious. Concrete, roofing, landscaping, remodels, drywall.
  • You serve homeowners in a defined set of towns.
  • The job is something people did not know they wanted until they saw it done next door.
  • You have a seasonal push and need demand ahead of it, not the week it starts.
  • You already rank or advertise on Google and want to be in front of the same town twice.
  • You are willing to be on camera, or at least let us film the work.

Meta is the wrong move when

  • Your customers are other businesses making a considered purchase. They are not buying off a scroll.
  • It is an emergency service. A burst pipe is a Google search, not a Facebook impression.
  • Your total marketing budget is a few hundred dollars a month. Meta needs real spend per angle before the data means anything, and a thin test just tells you nothing slowly.
  • Nobody is calling leads back the same day. Cold leads need faster follow-up than warm ones, not slower.
  • You want to be judged on cost per lead in week two.
What we are not going to do

We are not going to show you somebody else's screenshots.

Every other service page on this site leads with numbers out of a live account, because we have them. Our Google Ads page shows 323 tracked leads on $20,580 of managed spend over twelve months, and you can hold us to it. On Meta we are earlier. We run it inside our monthly packages and we shoot the creative for it, but we are not going to dress up a borrowed case study or a screenshot from a conference slide and call it proof.

So judge this page on the part that is real: the photography and video. Look at the work we shoot, look at the results we publish with names and dates on them, and decide whether you want the person who takes those photos running the ads they go into.

When a Meta account of ours has twelve clean months behind it, the numbers will go on this page the same way. If you are reading this and they still are not here, that means we have not earned them yet.

Meta ads are managed inside the monthly packages rather than sold on their own, because paid social without the creative to feed it does not work. Ad spend is billed separately and goes straight to Meta.

Fair questions

Before you call.

What is the difference between Meta ads and social media management?

Meta ads are paid placements on Facebook and Instagram shown to people who do not follow you. Social media management is running your page day to day: posting, replying, building a following. They are different jobs and we sell them separately. If you want the page handled rather than ads run, see social media management.

Should I run Google Ads or Meta ads first?

For most contractors, Google. Search catches people who already have the problem and are trying to solve it today, which is a shorter path to a booked job. Meta is how you get in front of the same town before they need you. If the budget only covers one, start with Google Ads and add Meta when there is room for both.

Do I have to be on camera?

No. Plenty of our best performing creative is just the work: a pour, a roof going on, a finished basement, hands doing something skilled. Being on camera helps because people hire people, but it is not a requirement and we will not push you into it.

Who owns the ad account and the footage?

You own both. We work inside your Meta Business account or set one up in your name and give you admin. The photos and video we shoot are yours to keep and use anywhere, including on your site, your truck, and your print work. If we part ways you take all of it.

What should I budget for Meta?

Enough that a single creative angle gets a fair test before you judge it. In practice that means a few hundred dollars per angle, not per month, which is why we do not recommend paid social to anyone whose entire marketing budget is a few hundred dollars. That money does more in local SEO or a better website first.

Why do you not show Meta results on this page?

Because we do not have twelve clean months of a Meta account to show yet, and we are not willing to borrow somebody else's. Our Google Ads numbers are published with client names and dates attached. When the Meta numbers are real, they will be here the same way.
